Dr Wahbi Mohamed Mukhtar sworn in as head of the Constitutional Court of Sudan

Khartoum, Nov. 11  Dr Wahbi Mohamed Mukhtar was sworn in Wednesday, before the President of the Republic Omar Al Bashir, as head of the Sudan Constitutional Court.

The swon in ceremony was attended by the Chief Justice Haidar Ahmed Daffalla and Minister for Presidency Affairs, Salah Wanisi.

Dr Wahbi has pointed out in statement following the ceremony, that the President of the Republic has stressed the need for applying the principle of constitutionality of the laws and for realization of justice and for freedoms of the citizens.

The head of the constitutional court has stressed that his court would do its utmost to implement these principle and preserve rights through due process of law, impartiality or favoritism.
