Libreville-held the sixth session of the Executive Office of CJCA .

On 8 and 9 January 2016, was held in Libreville, the sixth session of the Executive Office of CJCA, chaired by Mrs Marie Madeleine Mborantsuo President of the Constitutional Court of Gabon and current President of CJCA.

Were present :

– The Constitutional Court of Gabon (Chair).

– The Constitutional Court of South Africa (1st Vice-Chair).

– The Mauritanian Constitutional Council (2nd Vice-chair).

– The Constitutional Court of Angola (third vice-chair).

– The High Court of Justice of Tanzania (4th Vice-President).

– The Constitutional Council of Cote d’Ivoire (member).

– The High Constitutional Court of Madagascar (member).

– The Constitutional Court of Benin (ex officio).

– The Constitutional Council of Algeria (ex officio).

 

Were notably discussed:

– The report of the CJCA activities since the last Congress in Libreville (May 2015).

– The status of accession.

– Update on contributions.

– The closing of the 2015 budget and adoption of the budget for 2016.

– The adoption of the program of activities for 2016.

– The Cooperation with the African Union.

– The draft cooperation agreement with the Arab Union

– The next meeting of the CJCA,

b- Session (7th) of the Bureau, Abidjan – January 2017

c- Congress (4th) of the CJCA, Cape Town – April 2017
