Constitutional Court of Guinea: New President
Alpha Conde confirms the election of Mohamed Lamine Bangoura as head of the Constitutional Court.
The latent crisis in the Constitutional Court was decided on Wednesday by President Alpha Condé. In a decree, the head of state confirmed the election of Mohamed Lamine Bangoura, formerly vice-president of the Court by the eight advisers at the head of the country’s very prestigious institution. The vice-presidency returns to Amadou Diallo.
This decree thus put an end to several months of quarrels between Kèlèfa Sall and his colleagues of the Court who demanded his departure. The latter accuse him of mis management.
