The Supreme Tribunal of Justice of São Tomé and Príncipe has a new President.
Judge Manuel Silva Gomes Cravid was elected new President of the Supreme Court of Sao Tome and Principe, and also represents the Constitutional Court of the country.
Silva Cravid was elected with three of the five votes of his peers, surpassing former president José Bandeira by a vote alongside judge Alice Carvalho, while the other two judicial advisers, in particular Silvestre Leite and Frederico da Gloria did not Obtained from votes.
Graduated in Law at the University of Coimbra, Portugal, Silva Gomes was also President of the Electoral Commission, Coordinator of the Cabinet of Administrative Reform and Judge of the Court of First Instance.
